I just received my large cross body tote from "Hides Canada" I was VERY impressed with the bag when I unwrapped my parcel. I came in a really nice dust bag, the bag was actually bigger than I expected. The leather is absolutely premium quality. Thick, smooth, great attention to detail. Very roomy on the inside, will easily hold all the stuff I tote around with me. I was kind of surprised that there was absolutely no type of Logo branding on the product at all. I would have expected there to be on a bag of this quality. The only thing I could think of to suggest any type of an improvement would be, it would be nice if your bags had metal "Feet" studs (I don't know exactly what you call them) on the bottom of the bag, just to save the bottom from getting scuffed up and dirty from coming into contact with the floor when you set the bag down. I will definitely be returning to HidesCanada for future purchases. This was money well spent! 🇨🇦🇨🇦

The leather is a bit stiffer than I like. Previous hides bags were softer initially and felt more luxurious.
I am hoping it will soften overtime. Other than that, it does appear exactly as the website depicts.

Purchased the XL cross body tote. This is a great quality bag. I was skeptical about ordering the XL, but glad I did! Also love that it zips up! This was a big selling point for me..The leather is going to wear very nicely. I have been a roots leather fan for many years and I’ve now been converted!

I absolutely love this bag! The colour is great (dark brown) and the leather and the construction is excellent quality. It is very light and functional and the cross body strap is very comfortable and will make travelling through airports, etc, very practical.

Just received today - bag seems well made and as described. Ordered XL to be a carry-all/weekender bag and it's definitely roomy. I think it will wear in and soften nicely. Shipping was slow (20 days from ON to BC) but customer service was responsive and I'm happy it arrived safely. Looking forward to using it.

This handbag is even way better than I expected - it is well made and holds a lot (I have medium size)! Love the cross-body strap - having the ability to switch from cross-body bag to shoulder straps is great. Highly recommend this bag!

I wanted to edit my earlier review. The bag has arrived after some back and forth with Uni Uni the delivery company. Product is beautiful! The leather has no visible scuffs and it smells nice. It comes with a dust bag,leather shoulder strap and also has an interior pocket which is nice. I am happy with my purchase.

I forgot to add the monogram at the time of checkout and customer service was very helpful in having this added last minute.

Love the bag, the size and the individual pockets. I was however disappointed in the colouration of the leather. I thought it would be richer and I dislike the lighter variation on one side. If it’s exchangeable I’d be thrilled.

The mid-sized crossbody leather tote is well-made and aesthetically pleasing. I'm very grateful that Hides allowed me to exchange the large (too much for my purposes) for the mid-sized one with absolutely no problems.

I purchased this bag in XL. Perfect for my go-to work bag. I use it to carry my lunch, my shoe bag, my charger cords and anything else I need to bring with me on a daily basis. Love, love, love this bag. I’m short so I didn’t want something huge, I went with the size small and it’s exactly what I was looking for. Special deal I got the small makeup bag for free and it’s great to keep all my beauty products in one place. Just the right amount of pockets, comfortable handles on my shoulder. I haven’t used the crossbody strap yet but I’m sure it will come in handy. I love that the opening is zippered. So many tote-sized bags don’t have that. Highly recommend this bag.

I searched many leather products sites to find Hides' totes because I specifically wanted one with a large, undivided space (which seems to be a rare quality). I also wanted black with silver-tone hardware. It is perfect for books, shoes for when I visit people's homes in winter and will be removing my boots (Canadian, eh?), and perhaps a bottle of wine for my hosts... As well, I can stuff in my small purse. With my new tote I only have to carry one bag instead of several bags. Yay! I like the crossbody option and the simple, practical design. I am hoping the tote wears well! My only concern is the large stitches on handles - will they stand up? I am giving the product a rating of 'good' until I see how it wears.
